Pakistan opts to bat first in Test against Australia

Pakistan has won the toss and decided to bat first against Australia in the first Test being played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq has said that the team's morale was high.

Yasir Shah and Imran Khan will be debuting for Pakistan, whereas other men in the team include Ahmed Shehzad, Azhar Ali, Mohammad Hafeez, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Asad Shafiq, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Rahat Ali and Zulfiqar Babar.

The Australian team comprises Chris Rogers, David Warner, Alex Doolan, Michael Clarke (capt), Steve Smith, Mitchell Marsh, Brad Haddin (wk), Mitchell Johnson, Peter Siddle, Steve O'Keefe and Nathan Lyon.

Mitchell Marsh and Steve O' Keefe will be playing their first Test for Australia.

Pakistan has 12 Test victories against Australia and 28 losses.
